HI EVERYONE!!! I know I'm breaking the rules for typing something with no Q&A thingy, but I'M READING TWO BOOKS AT THE SAME TIME!!!!!!! YIPPEE FOR ME!!!!!!!!
Title: Marian's Song (Read it, its a picture book!) 1. What year did Marian apply for school for the 1st time, but it didn't allow the colored? A: 1915. 2. What was the 1st country that she traveled to out of America? A: France. 3. What happened to Mariah's father? A: He passed away.
Title: The Best School Year Ever 1. What Herdman was in Beth's class? A:Imogene. 2. What Herdman bites people? A:Gladys. 3. Why weren't the Herdmans allowed in town hall? A:They put frogs in the drinking fountain there.
Hi! I read the book Catherine, Called Birdy. I thought the book was okay. Here are my questions.
1. What years did the story take place? answer:1290-1291
2.What did Catherine call the suitor she was going to marry but then he died? answer: Shaggy Beard
3.What was the name of Catherine's friend who loved Catherine's Uncle George but then ended up loving and marrying Catherine's brother, Robert? answer: Aelis

Why did Benjy and Fran just meet their Grandmother for the first time?
answer: Their dad abandoned them along time ago, so since it was their dads mother and he left, they really had no desire to.
